About this event:

The Brotherhood Games is excited to host one of the UK’s Materia Cups for 2025. This is the first time we’ll be hosting an FFTCG event of this level at our now one-year old cafe branch on Bermondsey High Street.

Taking place on the weekend of July 5th/6th, this event will be capped at 80 players, with 7 rounds of best of one swiss on Saturday followed by a top 16 cut best of three on Sunday. The Top 4 players will qualify for the European Championship, with the winner receiving a grade 2 unpaid invite to the World Championship.

Event Details:

Doors and Registration will open at 10am on Saturday, with Round 1 to be started at 11am. Each round will last 30 minutes, with an hour lunch break after Round 3. We expect Day 1 to finish no later than 7pm. Top 16 players will need to hand in their decks to be kept overnight

Doors will also open at 10am on Sunday, with Top 16 starting at 11am. Each best of three will be 75 minutes, with the finals being untimed. The Day 2 side event will start at 12pm, with the number of rounds depending on attendance. There will be a lunch break after the first round of Top16 We expect Day 2 to finish no later than 6pm

Additional Notes:

The store will be closed to the public on the day of the event, thus only ticketholders and staff will be allowed in the venue.

Also please note that there is no outside food or drink to be consumed in the venue.

Refund Policy:

Tickets are refundable up to 1st July, including a £1 admin fee. Your ticket will be non-refundable after this time.

Please also note that any remaining tickets will be taken offline at 7pm Friday 4th July to prepare the space for the expected participants.
